6. Hey Hey We’re the…Fonzie?

Looking back on it now, it’s almost impossible to comprehend anyone but Henry Winkler playing the iconic role of The Fonz. But apparently, it was quite close to being someone else entirely. That someone else was none other than Micky Dolenz from The Monkees. Dolenz came in and read for the part and with his popularity, at the time he seemed like a shoe-in. But in the end, it was Winkler’s short stature that made him the perfect candidate for the role, and the rest, as they say, is history.
