Harry Potter brought the first fire into the Bodleian Library.
The rules of the Bodleian Library, Duke Humfrey’s Library in the film, are specific. Fire is strictly forbidden. Students in the real world must sign an oath, scribed in Latin, which states, “I hereby undertake… (yadda yadda) not to bring into the library, or kindle therein, any fire or flame…” For the film, they made the only exception ever, making Daniel Radcliffe the first and only person to ever bring fire into the place.
