20. Discovered by Pilgrim Studios
The first custom bike the boys made was a beast they called True Blue. It was unlike any bike on the road, not built from a modified Harley or an old Indian, but from the ground up. True Blue didn’t look scrappy, though. It looked like something totally new. It would take a few years for Pilgrim Studios to catch up with Teutul, but that first splash in Daytona made some huge waves. By the time Pilgrim Studios came around, the Teutuls had a small garage. What Pilgrim offered Paul Sr., however, was the deal of a lifetime.
