The Biscayne was the entry level car of Chevrolet’s full-size car range, but don’t let that fool you. It was produced from 1958-1972 and had a total of four generations. There was multiple trim levels and engines choices as well. Starting in 1961, the second gen had the option of the 409 cubic inch engine that was notoriously popular for its neck snapping power. But it was the 1966 model year that really put the Biscayne on the muscle car map with its optional big block 427 that had a claimed 425hp.
