Former President George W. Bush once identified what he called “the axis of evil,” as North Korea, Iran, and Iraq. The last on the list, Iraq, has been a mess since its fall, but Iran and North Korea remain thorns in the collective side of Washington. North Korea or NoKo, as I like to call it, is one headline away from a pre-emptive attack. The current U.S. leadership is out of threats; something explosive appears imminent. It is for this reason, the people of the world recoil at images from the region. Continue if you’re not squeamish.
24. Goose Stepping
Seems we can’t flip through the endless internets without catching a shot of soldiers in North Korea goose stepping in Pyongyang or elsewhere. If we didn’t know better, we might think walking in unison were all they practiced. As we will see in the next slides, they also practice epic war poses and field work. But, they always make time for marching.
23. Epic Shots
This is how we know the soldiers of North Korea do more than march about with locked knees. They also pose for epic battle shots, for a battle which isn’t taking place. It’s like Kim Jong Un hired a Hollywood producer to capture his troops in action. Since he brought in Dennis Rodman to coach the national basketball team, it wouldn’t be a surprise. Be all you can be in the NoKo Army.
