8. The Harder the Better
One of the trickiest, yet most important parts of The Price is Right is what you would call the “come on down” bidding game. Four contestants try and guess the price of a random product and the closest wins and moves on to the next round of pricing games. Producers go out of their way to make it difficult as possible by choosing off-the-wall items that could be anything from a pile of canned foods to a hairdryer. Mastering this game was nearly impossible, yet contestants tried all sorts of tactics such as the $1 trick.
