You’ll Never Guess What Celebrities Voiced These Cartoon Characters

23. Woody By Tom Hanks

This one should be no surprise to you, but just in case the role of Woody in the smash hit Toy Story films was played by Oscar-winning actor, Tom Hanks. Although what might come as a surprise to you is that not all of Woody’s voice work was played by Tom. He actually called upon his brother, Jim Hanks, to fill in for some of the promotional work that goes along with the franchise. Jim is a credited actor with a fair amount of success under his belt. Granted, nothing compared to his brother, but successful nonetheless.

22. Dory By Ellen DeGeneres

Another well-known cartoon character played by an A-list celebrity is the cute little forgetful fish, Dory, from the Finding Nemo and Finding Dory franchises. That celebrity was, of course, the ever-popular Ellen DeGeneres. She helped launch the popularity of those films into the stratosphere because she’s such a “people person.” Ellen even used her role as Dory in the real world too. She lashed out at President Donald Trump after he made the controversial choice to ban people from the Middle East from entering the United States.

21. Meg Griffin By Mila Kunis

This one happens to be a personal favorite of mine, both the character and the lovely actress that played her voice. I’m talking about Meg Griffin played by the one and only Mila Kunis in the hit series Family Guy. What’s so interesting is how different Mila is from the character she plays. Meg tends to be the punchline of numerous “ugly” jokes and as we all can clearly see, ugly is never going to be a word to describe Kunis. However, Kunis did tell reporters that she constantly hears the words “Shut Up Meg” from people on the streets as they pass her by.
