Anne Hathaway did such a great job playing Jewel, the mama bird in the animated film Rio, that nobody could resist asking her to come back for the sequel. In fact, Will.i.Am was so “blown away” by her incredible singing voice that he asked her to collaborate with him on the music for the second installment. She later joked with Ryan Seacrest about how she was worried that Will would say “oh nevermind” once he brought her into the studio and heard her voice firsthand. Obviously, that didn’t happen.
