After the show ended, the nerdy character of Steve Urkel stepped out of the limelight long enough to cross into manhood. White continued to take acting gigs, he attended UCLA and emerged as something of a heartthrob. In season 14 of the reality TV series, Dancing With the Stars, Jaleel White stole the spotlight again when audiences learned Steve Urkel had developed a six-pack. Getting to that point took a lot of blood, sweat, and tears.
