Myra Monkhouse wasn’t the only object of Steve Urkel’s affections. He was first and always interested in the middle child of the Winslow’s, Laura Winslow. Kellie Shanygne Williams was the talented actress behind that role. Over the seasons Laura never requites Urkel’s affections, year after year. Like him she’s studious, a determined A student, but not so much into nerdy things. She does well enough to make it into Harvard by the time she graduates. For all his efforts to win her over, by the last season, Urkel wins out. They finally become a couple marrying before the season ends.
