Sara Blakely is one of the few self-made billionaires on our list. She is the founder of Spanx, a company that specializes in creating leggings, pants, and other intimate women’s apparel. Some even refer to Spanx as a “women’s best friend,” and most guys are huge fans as well considering they tend to accentuate the beauty of the female form.

Sara founded Spanx in Atlanta, Georgia back in 2000, and since then she has amassed a fortune of almost one and a quarter billion dollars. Her overwhelming success even landed her on Time Magazine’s list of 100 most influential women, as well as ranking 93rd on Forbes list of most powerful women in the world. And if you needed another reason to be impressed by her, she’s also one of the minority owners of the Atlanta Hawks.
