The Ferrari 290 MM was a full blown race car that was made in 1956 to compete in the Mille Miglia, an open road endurance race held in Italy. It was limited to just four units and featured a 4.5L V12 similar to that used in the Formula 1 cars of the time that was capable of 320hp and a top speed of nearly 170mph.
