The Duct Tape CV Boot
Front wheel drive cars have what is called a CV axles that drive the front wheels and they have what is referred to as the CV boot that is normally a rubber piece that surrounds and protects that CV joint. Over time it common for the rubber on those boots to fail and require replacements. But doing the whole thing can be expensive so im sure mechanics run into this sort of thing all the time where people use something to seal that boot back up, what better material then good old duct tape.
