This is a prime example of having luck on your side, even though it may not seem like it at the time. Anson Williams was on his way to audition for the role of “Potsie,” the loveable but dimwitted best friend of Richie Cunningham when his car stalled and he was unable to get it started again. This caused him to be hours late to the audition, but yet he still somehow managed to land the job! I guess if you’re right for the part, you’re right for the part, no matter when you audition.
