The premise of the show was that they pair would test urban legends to see if they hold water. So, if folks believed that swimming after eating would cause cramps, they could test that concept using science. There was only one BIG problem. There weren’t enough myths to bust. “We ran out of urban legends (to test) in season 3,” Savage to Deadline. So, they had to expand their options, addressing beliefs and perceptions not necessarily in the canon of urban legends.
