6. The Build Team
The show was more than Savage and Hyneman. The build team was the sometimes-co-hosts-sometimes-no-hosts who helped the main hosts build cool stuff… usually only to blow it up later. For some fans, the build team, Grant Imahara, Tory Belleci, and Kari Byron were a more important feature than the main hosts.
