Trekkie Doctor

Hardcore fans of Star Trek, also known as “Trekkies,” will immediately recognize the episode titled “Where No Man Has Gone Before.” That’s because it was the second pilot that helped get the show on the air, and then later was the third episode of the first season. The reason I bring this up is that Paul Fix, the actor that played Doctor Marshal Micah Torrence in The Rifleman, also played a doctor in the Star Trek episode. Seems he had the ideal look of a medical professional and he used that to his advantage.
