Dennis Hopper

The Rifleman television show was a stepping stone for many different actors. For example, the one and only Dennis Hopper appeared in the premiere episode called “Sharpshooter.” It wasn’t a major role, but it was a role nonetheless. Hopper later returned further on in the series to play an unrelated character in the episode titled, “Three Legged Terror.” It wasn’t as popular as his role in Easy Rider, but it still provided the perfect start for Hopper who went on to have a highly decorated career in show business.
