3. John MacArthur
Born in 1939, MacArthur started in the 1960s working as an evangelist preacher. His first assignment was in Los Angeles at Calvary Bible Church. Then, in ’69 he joined Grace Community Church. In 1977, he launched the show he still maintains, an internationally syndicated radio show called, Grace to You. He’s also created a college in 1986, the Master’s Seminary, where he serves as the president. In his life, MacArthur penned some 150 books and has a net worth of over $12 million. He makes around $160,000 per year.
