10. The Prosecution

The lead prosecutor assigned to the O.J. Simpson case was Deputy District Attorney Marcia Clark. Clark was a respected attorney, but there some were concerned that she might not be experienced enough for this case. However, others stated that the evidence was so overwhelming that experience was irrelevant.

Clark’s co-counsel was Deputy District Attorney Christopher A. Darden and Assistant District Attorney Bill Hodgman. Hodgman pulled out of his duties following heart problems. This left Darden to deal with an increased workload.
