10. Rufe Davis
In Petticoat Junction, an old train runs through from Hooterville, the home of Green Acres, to the town of Pixley. Rufe Davis, a native of Oklahoma, plays the conductor of the train, Floyd Smoot, who also serves as the comic relief of the show. Davis acted in the movie series The Three Mequiteers but also recorded music for children. In 1974, at age 66, Davis passed away.
