Super Wealthy Church Leaders in America

19. Celebrity Church

Sensing an opportunity for community outreach, Rossi and family moved to Los Angeles to serve the neediest of us all: celebrities. Rossi founded Eternal Grace Church, geared to serving the oppressed celebrities of Los Angeles who have no place to worship away from paparazzi. The connection to Hollywood hasn’t hurt Rossi’s personal stardom any. Since the move he’s been in TV series, talk shows, movies, and written three books. He maintains a podcast, Richard Rossi Live, for those who can’t make services personally. Rossi’s favorite subject: fake faith healers.

18. Paul Cain

Sporting the most ironic name in evangelical Christianity, Paul (as in the fella mentioned earlier) Cain (as in the bad seed of Adam and Eve) is a venerable figure in evangelic Christianity. Cain received his first name when his mother miraculously survived childbirth despite an affliction of tuberculosis. She gave her little miracle a very Christian name as a symbol of his calling to the priesthood. Cain, it seems, took her at face value. By age 18 he was preaching to huge crowds of people (30,000) in Switzerland and Germany. At such young age, he was on par with names like Oral Roberts, and the aforementioned Billy Graham.
