5. Tony Campolo

While most of these preachers fall on the right side of the political spectrum, Campolo is a Democrat and the former spiritual advisor to President Bill Clinton. He started the Red-Letter Christian movement, with the intention to emphasize the teachings of Jesus. Campolo graduated Seminary in 1956 and earned his Ph.D. after that. He is an ordained Baptist Minister and still practices in West Philadelphia. Campolo appears as a regular on talk shows, discussing politics and religion often irritating the Christian right. Estimates put his net worth at $4-million.

4. Reinhard Bonnke

Born in 1940 in East Prussia, Germany, Bonnke is a German Pentecostal evangelist. He’s made a career of mission work in Africa. Bonnke studied in Wales, at the Bible College of Wales. After school, he worked as a pastor in Germany for years, then began his ministry in Africa in 1967. At the height of Bonnke’s ministry in Africa, he spoke to crowds of 100,000 people. He wrote an autobiography, “Living a Life of Fire,” and still preaches. Estimates put his net worth at $4-million, but he only makes around $162,000 per year.
