The telescope used by the headmaster Dumbledore was not only the most expensive prop used on the set of Harry Potter, it was one of the most expensive props used in a film ever. Warner Bros. isn’t saying exactly what it cost, but they assure us that it wasn’t cheap. That’s crazy since the telescope barely gets any air time.
