Movie and TV buffs might only recognize Chuck Connors due to his acting roles. However, sports fans will likely recognize him due to his incredible athletic career. Connors was also a world class athlete with skills good enough to take him to the professional level in both Major League Baseball and the National Basketball Association. Connors was one of only 12 American athletes to have played in both the NBA and MLB. Not too shabby right?
