Don Knotts received a lot of bullets.
The running gag on TAGS was that Sherriff Andy couldn’t trust Barney, Don Knott’s character, with a loaded gun. To compensate for this, he would only allow Barney one bullet. Then he would invariably take that away at some point during most episodes. Fans celebrated the character by sending Knott’s single bullets in the mail. Creepy, but funny.
