Make Room for Daddy
Few know that TAGS was a spinoff show or that was how producers made it seem. The characters of Sheriff Andy and his son, Opie, appeared in the February 1960 episode of Make Room for Daddy when the title character, Danny Thomas, drove into Mayberry. Sheriff Andy arrested and detained Thomas, then… comedy ensued. The actress who played Aunt Bee was on there too but billed as Harriet Perkins at the time.
