13. Modern DNA Testing
Thomas Jefferson didn’t consider what might happen with science in the future, that we’d decode the DNA strand, and that we could test DNA for many things… Using this technology, scientists have been able to match enough of the DNA from Hemings and Jefferson’s descendants to determine that Jefferson was lying. They were his kids. He was with Sally. There are some historians who disagree, but others feel those historians have alternative agendas.
