September 11th Memorial
The Memorial for the WTC attack sits on the exact place where the old towers once rose. Since it opened in 2011, before they completed the new tower, 21 million people visited the memorial. There is a museum too, with 12,500 artifacts and 23,000 photos commemorating the dead.
