Emergency workers outside the Pentagon
The obvious difference between the two attack sites, New York and D.C., was that rescue workers could get closer to the Pentagon. Here we see trains of paramedics and medevac helicopters. The sense of pandemonium at the Pentagon site is subdued, likely because no tall structures fell from the sky, nor did any plumes of smoke envelope the city.
