New York Fire Department after dust settles

The New York Fire Department arrived on the scene twice. The first crews of firefighters stormed the buildings after the planes hit, attempting to get everyone out. Many of those heroes did not survive. The second wave came after the dust settled. Getting in the second time was much harder. The fires from the attack took over three months to extinguish.
