15. The Rachel Haircut
In the late 1990s and early 2000s, there was one haircut on the head of almost every young woman’s head: The Rachel. It was a little retro, ratted and poofy in back to give the head volume, patchy and scrappy in front to look like surreptitiously perfect bedhead. The actress behind the haircut’s namesake, Aniston, was not a fan. “I had to see [my stylist] every six weeks to keep this darn thing up,” said Aniston of the cut to Hello Giggles. “It was a pain in the butt, to be honest, one of the hardest hairstyles to maintain unless Chris did it.”
