7. Jack Dodson
While Dodson first became well known via “The Andy Griffith Show,” where he played the county clerk, he’d been acting for years at the time. Dodson played Carl Butlam on “Mr. Belvedere,” assistant to Mr. Hammond. He stayed active in his career after 1990, landing roles on the “It’s Garry Shandling’s Show,” and “Growing Pains.”He was a true working actor. Sadly, heart failure took him at a young age in 1994. Dodson was only 63.
