8. The Hair Prank

During Felicity, Keri Russell was known for her gorgeous mane of long, super-curly hair. The hair was so iconic to the character that it was nearly sacred. Keri once played a joke on the producers by taking a photo of herself wearing a short wig, as if she really had cut all her hair off. The creative team totally lost it – only to find out later that it was a prank.
Later, they used the prank as inspiration, deciding that the haircut fit the character. The cut was a nationwide shock. Some critics even postulate that the ratings dropped purely because she cut her hair. These days, Keri straightens her hair…but it might be nice to see the curls make another appearance.
