14. How Alias Is Connected to Felicity

After Felicity, Garner played her breakout famous role in Alias. Alias was created by J.J. Abrams. During the filming of Felicity, he felt creatively stifled and wanted to take the show in a new direction. He posed the idea of Felicity actually being a spy…but that idea didn’t go over very well with the rest of production.
Never one to let sleeping ideas lie, J.J. Abrams was undeterred. He took that idea and created Alias, and got Garner to play the main role. Jennifer had never played that character archetype before, but she did really well and even enrolled in martial arts to train for the part.
13. The Pink Power Ranger

Amy Jo Johnson played the role of Julie, one of Felicity’s best friends. Julie was a budding musician who eventually turned her music into a career. Originally, the show’s creators wanted the character to be a dancer, but Amy Jo didn’t know how to dance. What she could do was sing. So, they rewrote the part for her.
After the show, Johnson became famous for playing the part of the Pink Power Ranger in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
