Just like Escobar’s money, there is no way of knowing exactly how much cocaine he was responsible for smuggling into the United States. However according to law enforcement’s best guess, they think Escobar and his men were bringing in as much as 15 tons of the crazy drug, that’s more than 30,000lbs of the stuff. And mind you, that’s per day!

A great majority of Escobar’s success was the people of Columbia loved him and therefore would never think of turning on him and “dropping a dime” to law enforcement. The way Pablo earned that loyalty was he was quite charitable with the poor. As a matter of fact, he was so generous and supported the people towards the poverty line that he quickly earned the nickname “Robin Hood.”
