The Fear of Extradition
As I mentioned before, Pablo was willing to do just about anything under the sun to prevent spending the end of his days in an American prison. That was his greatest fear and why he was willing to offer up as much as $10 billion to clear Columbia’s debt so that they would change extradition laws.
Hero to the People
In most people eye’s Escobar is viewed in a very negative light. However, not to many of the people of Columbia. To them, he was viewed more as a hero than anything else. He created numerous parks and stadiums where children could play, as well as giving money to churches and hospitals.
