3. Jerry Mathers’ Audition Was Nontraditional

Jerry Mathers didn’t have a normal audition. Instead of showing up, reading some lines, and then hoping for the part, Mathers arrived in his Cub Scout uniform and informed the casting directors that he had to hurry because he had a meeting to attend. He was so adorable that he landed the role immediately.
