Juicy Tidbits About the Movie Jaws

2. Daah Dum, Daah Dum, Daah Dum

Ok so that might be a terrible way to put the iconic Jaws theme into words, but now that you know what I was going for it’ll make a bit more sense. It’s one of the most recognizable movie themes of all time and you’d think it would be difficult to play. But those with an ear for music will already know that it really only consists of two main notes, E and F. The mad genius behind this simple but effective tune is composer John Williams. It was the second time Williams had worked with Spielberg on his film The Sugarland Express. And he did such a fantastic job that he would end up composing every Spielberg movie from then on with the exception of Bridge of Spies in 2015, and The Color Purple in 1985.
