1. Doody Lives in Detroit
Don’t confuse him with the rap artist Eminem’s friend, Proof, whom Eminem called “Doody.” Proof also lived in Detroit… well, 10 Mile Road. This Doody, the Howdy one, moved to Detroit just before Buffalo Bob passed away. There were many voices who claimed the right to the puppet, but the Detroit Institute of the Arts won the final prize. They have the largest collection of famous puppets int he world, making Howdy a Michigan resident for all time.
