6. Happy Days Revived Howdy Doody
When “Happy Days” went on the air, Howdy Doody was well off the air. Then, they produced an episode of “Happy Days” called, “The Howdy Doody Show.” They bought Buffalo Bob Smith on as himself. Someone at the network sat up and took notice because they revived the show for a season. The problem was that the audience for the show was too old, and the new generation wasn’t into it. Without a fan base, it didn’t last.
