Twins played young Carrie Ingalls
As is customary to navigate child labor laws, twin girls, the Bush twins, played the young Carrie Ingalls. California labor law allowed each girl to work for a few hours, then she had to stop working for the day. If showrunners weren’t done filming for the day, the director would call in the other twin.
