Actress Peggy Ryan is known for playing McGarrett’s secretary, Jenny Sherman. Most people recognize her for that role, but did you know that Ryan also played the Hawaiian governor’s secretary, Mildred, in two episodes of the first season? The producers liked her performance early on, and decided to re-cast her as a more important character.
