18. The Curse of Dirty Dancing

Things can happen on a movie set that are completely unforeseen. With so many moving parts it’s almost impossible for them not to. Some films such as Poltergeist and the Exorcist were rumored to have been cursed. But not Dirty Dancing though, right? Apparently, that’s not the case. Cast and crew members that worked on the film believe they were cursed from day one. There were numerous injuries, a flood on the set, as well as a break in where a significant amount of property was stolen. And what’s sort of creepy is that all of these things happened within 24 hrs of each other.
17. Unscripted is Sometimes the Best

Ah, the crawling scene. Baby and Johnny crawling around on the floor of the dance studio lip-syncing to the song “Love is Strange,” is something that most of us will never forget. With it being such an iconic scene you would think it was meticulously scripted and choreographed. But it turns out that wasn’t the case at all. Instead, it was designed to be a warm-up for the actors but when the director of the film, Emile Ardolino, saw the chemistry on camera he decided to add it in.
