10. The Dirty Dancing Experience

If you’re a hardcore fan of the show you might be interested to know that you can experience Dirty Dancing like you wouldn’t think possible. As I mentioned above, the film was shot in Virginia even though we were made to believe it was the Catskills. The lodge where it was filmed actually exists there and it goes by the name of The Mountain Lake Lodge. Apparently, they play up the connection with the film too and even hold activities like watermelon tossing because it was featured in the movie.
