Since the show was so popular, It eventually made its way to the rest of the world. It made such an impact in France that a French version was created. The premise may have been the same, but only the character that kept the same name was Uncle Bill. Everyone from Buffy, Mrs. Beasley, and even Mr. French got new names. Buffy became FanFan, Giles became Mr. Felix, and Mrs. Beasley was renamed Mademoiselle Pétronille.
