8. Everyone Loves a Nickname

It’s probably fairly well known, but Cissy, Jody, and Buffy weren’t the actual names of the characters. Instead, they were nicknames that were developed over the years. Cissy’s real name was Catherine, Buffy’s was Ava, and Jody’s was Jonathan. But if you tried to use those names in reference to the characters, it’s doubtful that anyone would know who you were referring to.
