29. T-14 Active Protection System
While tanks have the ability to blow stuff up, like other tanks, and people, from far away, they have one vulnerability. A careful attacker can walk up to an unguarded tank and detonate an explosive. The T-14 introduces a unique set of defense standards. With its modular armor, it can take a serious beating. Even better, it may be able to dodge them too. The Active Protection System (APS) is so effective, the T-14 can detect and dodge incoming attacks moving at Mach 5. That’s five times the speed of sound.
