2. War Games
The latest news out of Russia causing concern is a slight departure from the technology front. In September 2017, in Zapad, Russia and the Belarusian military forces engaged in one of the largest war games in recent history. By best estimates, according to Vox, some 100,000 troops participated in the games over a period of about a week. It wasn’t just troops. They threw in planes, helicopters, tanks, ships, and weapons too. The last time they did this, the Russians invaded the Crimea right afterward.
