12. Upgraded Aging Bombers
The Russian Tu-95 is nothing special unless one has a fondness for antiquity. It’s the only propeller bomber still in use, designed and built back in the 1950s. What makes the Tu-95 extraordinary is its useful longevity, recently upgraded with, oh nothing, 250 kiloton nuclear missiles. It’s like mounting a laser cannon on a 1925 Tin Lizzie. For an old dog, the Tu-95 can cover about 3,500 miles, enough to make it a formidable threat.
